IELTS is one of the most widely accepted standardised English language tests and is conducted by IDP in India. It is a test taken by candidates to study in an English-speaking environment, work in or emigrate to an English-speaking country. There are two types of IELTS tests which you can attempt :1. IELTS General: It is the test taken by those who seek to move abroad for secondary education, employment opportunities and permanent residence (PR) .‍2. IELTS Academic: It is the test taken by those who seek to enrol in undergraduate, postgraduate or any other higher level courses and also taken by individuals seeking professional recognition.

The Listening Module is typically considered one of the easiest by most students. The Listening test is between 30 to 40 minutes and you will have to answer 40 questions across 4 different sections. An audio recording will be played, typically a conversation between two people on an everyday topic or a monologue of an academic subject; like a lecture. You will have to answer a set of questions based on the audio being played.The audio will be mostly in a British/Australian accent and you can only listen to the audio once.
