The founder CEO of Matxin Labs Dr S.K Mitra has over 30 (Thirty) years of experience in research and marketing of herbal : pharmaceuticals, cosmaceuticals, animal health & nutraceutical products. He was the former Executive Director and Partner of Himalaya Drug Company and former CEO of Emami/Zandu group.
He has delivered scientific lectures all over the world and published over 150 articles in reputed & indexed national & international journals. He along with his team have filed several international patents on molecules identified from plants.
In 2010 he won the prestigious Sir R.N Chopra memorial award for his contribution to the field of cosmetics & pharmaceutical science. In 2015 he won Prof B.Mukherji memorial award for his contribution to herbal research.
He is actively involved in research of natural products and is a board member of various scientific advisory committees of Government of India & Scientific journals.
Many students from reputed universities have pursued their PhD under his guidance and he is a recognized PhD examiner in Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences Bangalore (Karnataka) India.
Matxin Labs mainstay is its research and adherence to strict quality parameters. All the products before introduction in the market undergo extensive research, testing, and clinical trials (pharmaceutical products). Only after the product formulation passes through the rigours of this exercise, it is introduced to the consumers. Even after the product has been launched the company works extensively on the feedback of the doctors, patients and consumers to get insights on the product performance and introduce improvements as and when required.
Rigorous measures are in place to ensure the quality of the mainstay of the products: The Herbal Ingredients. The procurement of the herbs is from suppliers who cultivate the plants under good agricultural practices. All the plants are free from heavy metal contamination and also free from pesticides and any other toxic chemicals.
The extraction process uses only purified water and not chemical solvents.
